| Comments: | I was reading most of the posts here and want to share my experience of tihing which as a cathoic I have never done before. I did it for the first time about 8 months ago when I was in tims of financial testing like many people in times of resession. God gave me the courage and the grace to do it and to continue under very difficult circumstances. My Lord is so merciful and all my needs have been met and many financial miracles have happened. | Comments: | I was admitted to the Ragama General Hospital on the 13th of November 2008 since my body color was changing to yellow and I was getting week day by day. The doctors carried out tests for a period of 2 weeks and were unable to diagnose the disease. Consequently I consulted a specialist and got admitted to the Colombo general Hospital were they confirmed that I was having excess Ferritin (Iron) in my body which should be below 400, but I had 2,051. The doctors advised me that I will have to transfusion blood once a week for two years to get raid of the entire Iron in my body. This was done for a period of two weeks. Meanwhile a friend of my wife requested me to attend the praise and thanksgiving services at Mahabole church for which I was not interested to go but due to her insisting I went to the church. | Comments: | Last night it was a bad day for Maharagama crowd. The church has stopped the services. But that is not a problem and it is nothing to be surprised. If I am not mistaken, when in 1993 when Fr. Oska was doing the "Pubuduwa" it was the same. So the persecution will come from the own family first. So it has come to past. One more thing I need to elaborate on your services which is not very prominent but which is the case always. Christianity is not a religion. It is the relationship with GOD the father and the son or daughter on earth. We have direct access to him through God the SON and GOD the Holy Spirit is there to help us! What else do we need!!! We do not need agents and go in betweens. However, in the middle of the service I found that we start to worship Mother Mary. Please do not take this in the wrong way. I am telling that we should respect her as the GOD's earthly mother but we should not worship her. |

All of us from the Risen Lord Community in Melbourne gathered together at St Elizabeths Church hall at 1.30p.m.We did'nt have any visuals for a long time but could hear the message Anusha was given a message to say we were all annointed by the Holy Spirit.Wow.....,we certainly were. We were all so full of Gods love.It was such a beautiful experience. We were all so proud that the Bishop of Melbourne was there and lead the Revival. Also to see the Bishop of Mannar and listen to his words. All of us who attended were so full of the love of the Holy Spirit. Even though my husband and I wanted to go home with intentions of watching it on the internet at home just could not leave. My heart is so full of the Holy Spirit it seems like it is bursting and I know beautiful miracles are going to happen in all our lives. On that following thurseday i was got my chance to reflect the bible holy words.So i prayers and prayers all the time. Then when i got up to the mic i was able to speak about holy words of lord . i folowed lalith thatha s words and i feel that i filled with a power that was over me.after that i was able to distribute many happy words by others.But i was not happy with thouse kind s of human words. | Comments: | My mother had a colon cancer and she's almost healed after we listened to word of God from Lalith thaththa...It's understood that God can heal any kind of sickness but it's so speacial when it comes to our case...Coz we upto now has spent nearly 6-7 lakhs for the treatments but we didn't and don't have a single cent in our accounts...Who can spend that much of money when you're not rich or a good savings account? But we did coz God looked after our every need miraculously...We still don't have our own house but have put a foundation on our land in Balummahara...We don't have money to build the house, I'm hoping to get married in next year but I don't have a single cent in my account due to the commitments I have....but we're not worried coz we know that God is going to fulfill our every requirement....Other than anything, we found his love....now that's enough for us to breath....we're not going behind wealth in this universe coz we've felt the importance of earning wealth for heaven. |

| Comments: | The sermon of "The seed must die" was truely touching, God showed me how we should die to our instincts, to our sinful desires and only live to him, and witness the great bounty harfest that he would reap in us. It's a hard call bcos we are so used to live after our natural refelxes and suddenly if have to change that course of action, its really painstaking and a killer. But if we cling on to God and obey him and please him, the fulfillment that he gives is unimaginable. Praise the Lord! |

Loving Lalith thatta, I was in Sri Lanka on dec to see my mother, who is suddenly fallen very ill, and I heard about a pray meeting at mabole, and I attended few meetings. As you say, I am also a Catholic who was thinking that is living a good Christian life. But dear Thatta now only I realise that it was not the way to lead a Christian life. As you say I was only begging things from God not praying. And now am getting closer to Jesus day after day and I feel so relaxed in life no words to explain the sensation. | Comments: | i was in Sri lanka on feb for a holiday, and i was taken to a pray meeting by my grand mother at mabole on the 10th of february. she said some person called Bro.lalith perera was preaching of whom i haven't heard of. while listening to his message, the words of "surrender to jesus" kept echoeing in my heart over and over again. So i just tried it to see what would happen, and suddenly i felt some kind of power was being flushed upon, and tears came running down my cheeks. i was helpless i cudn't stop it, then i knew it is God who for all these years of my sinful life has given me an opportunity to except his love and come under his warmath and protection. From that day onwards I have given my life to the will of God and continue to ask God to strengthen me to walk with him daily. I attend a non-denominational church at home that is filled with praise and worship. My home church is so inclusive and a true example of God's grace, forgiveness, and hope. I know that I know ... my God moves mountains. The face of the congregation is as varied and beautiful as God's love. Vallooran of Devine Retreat Center) at St Lourdes Church here in Singapore - probably the smallest church in Sigapore and last night it was quite crowded as the retreat was held just after the evening Sunday mass. I could not find a seat in the pews, so I resolved that I will sit or stand at the back of the church. But through a series of events I was taken right next to the front pew. (I did not want to be there, in case tears came to my eyes like the two days before). But on this occasion tears did not just come to my eyes... tears simply poured and poured. I was crying at one stage almost non-stop and I was crying happily for being able to invite Jesus and Holy Spirit and God the Father into my soul which I had sort of locked for so long (probably 34 years or more). After our split in December 2006,my huband has started attending the service and one day there was a word of knoweledge to say that we will never be divorced. From that point onwards he started changing,(we started communicating with each other after i saw his vast change of attitiudes) at the end he was able to convince me and broght me to the service as well. | Comments: | Praise Report: Praise Jesus and Thank you Jesus. The Surgery of Karlita Cuevas in the USA(Dallas) today(16.July.2007) was a success. She is in the ICU now and is recuperating. Ana and Carlos Cuevas her parents share their gratitude with the community and Church for praying for their daughter. The tumor as removed from her rib cage and the ribs were taken out fully(three of them which contained the tumor lump) she has a wall of gauge put in place of ribs and she thanks the commumnity too. I have been attending the Praise and Worship at St. Peters every Wednesday and it has remarkably strenghthened my relationship with Jesus.I am definitely not a person who spends a lot of time in prayer; and at the times I did, all I asked God was protection and good health. At that moment I hated my husband for not taking my side. I was away from the country for some years but one of my friends told me about the prayer meeting at St Peters. With all the turbulences I went through that day… God dragged me in to the meeting…it was amazing I was healed and touched by God… nor that I do not get attacked by in laws any more and I feel my Husband loves me more than the past and I have become to be more calm and quite and I have surrender my whole life to God.
